Pros

We work from home currently.

Cons

No Yearly raises - EVER I have worked here for 5 years and not a single raise given. Jobs are now being outsourced and we are training our replacements. Long term management were laid off, so much for loyalty. Goals are changing to be a lot more difficult so they can fire us without a severance package. Goals are unattainable now unless the employees cheat the metrics. It’s going to get worse. Our stock is worthless. Since it went to Angi Leads, it’s been a joke.

Thank you for your feedback and I understand your frustration. I'd like to address each of your concerns. Organizational changes are difficult and we don't make them without considerable thought and deliberation. The most recent changes were especially tough. We have outsourced a portion of our work, but our model remains the same - the more complex, intricate tasks are handled internally. Regarding pay, I'm not sure what specific team you are on, but in most cases, advisors have the ability to make very good wages if they perform at a high level. Additionally, all of our goals are meant to stretch our teams, but currently, regardless of the team, nearly 100% of advisors are meeting their goals. When we challenge ourselves to do great things individually, we see great results. Last, but certainly not least, Angi is entering a new era and some very positive changes are underway. If you haven't experienced them yet, I think you will soon. Thanks again for your feedback. We hope this response provides a sense of clarity around your concerns. If you would like to discuss more, please feel free to reach out to me directly. Matt Zurcher, SVP Ops

Pros

It’s work from home. Two 15 minute breaks and an hour lunch.

Cons

They are a very dishonest company. The hype up the job but in reality what you’ll be doing is spending all day calling random numbers in which about 95% of those people either won’t answer the phone or if they do, you will be hung up on within like two seconds. Not to mention the Angie reputation is so bad. It’s actually notoriously bad that even if you are able to get someone on the phone for more than a couple of minutes they’ll still end up hanging up just because of how bad Angie is. In my opinion Angie is a dishonest company selling a dishonest service because most of the leads they sell are fake and most of the leads they give their employees to call are also fake and if you don’t make these outrageous sales numbers you’re fired it’s a reason why the employee benefits don’t kick in until three months in because they know 95% of the people they hire won’t still be working there in three months because they will not hit the sales quotas. The only good thing about this job is its work from home really. And the hot leads they say they have 95% are fake or just someone who looked at a spam email. It’s actually comical how deceptive this company is.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us and taking the time to leave a review. We appreciate your feedback regarding our work-from-home flexibility, but we are concerned to hear your perspective on our lead quality, training expectations, and onboarding process. High-volume sales can be challenging, and we want our team members to feel equipped to succeed. We take your feedback regarding lead viability and quota structure seriously, as our goal is to provide transparent and viable opportunities for our sales team. We also continuously review our training support to ensure we are setting new hires up for long-term success. Thank you again for your candid input. If you are open to discussing your day-to-day challenges further so we can better support you, please reach out to your manager or HRBP.
