Pros
- Flexible working arrangements that suits towards your needs (sometimes) - Cool office working environment - There are still some really nice people there -- please recognize these few and don't lose them!
Cons
- Lots of Question Marks -- Company looks strong on the outside due to PR, flashy headlines, & marketing efforts, but actually lacks direction - Self-Identity Confusion -- it's more of a company that tries "everything" to see what hits, that's why many "collaborations" get confused or stuck at the discussion stage because proper business angles can't be identified. - Many good people continue to leave the company -- when the issue is not the lower-ranked employees, but the "Directors" themselves -- No "Director" or above doesn't seem to take ownership; afraid to fail or look bad, and are more interested in protecting their own interests by blaming or firing subordinates if things go wrong, and taking credit when things go right. - Raising VC money, hiring tons of people, while not producing sustainable cash flows from core businesses is quite concerning. - Expect to take a pay cut entering into this company.
