Exciting fake visions, which entice candidates to join, only to discover that it's... all fake.

Visions appear exciting, feel like you're going to build great things at a 'unicorn tech company'. Some people are actually nice.

Cons

Realize that visions are fake, just driven by narratives -- empty and unmeaningful. Culture is not inclusive: Have personally seen people feel left out until they quit. Nice people eventually end up being mean if you stay too long. Also be ready to take a pay cut to join the company.

- Horrible political culture. - Messy management due to the company hierarchy - No or small raise in neither good / bad market - Most extra bonus / incentive are BS and never happened
