Pros
- Some of the people that work there are really nice and fun to be around. - Company just raised some capital, so it should be able to invest more freely than in the past. - VP of Marketing is a great speaker and represents himself and the company very well. - The event marketing manager is very passionate about what she does. She goes above and beyond to help the company have a great event experience. - Company has changed their name to Annex Cloud from Social Annex, in an attempt not to suffer in the present from past misfortunes and bad experiences. Cons
- CEO micro manages everything, almost to the point that he's afraid to let go and give others autonomy. - Leadership talks down & degrades the people that work there- hence the unhealthy comment in the subject line. - Leadership does not encourage creativity or ideas other than their own. Their model of leading is top down and authoritative. - Employees morale is beaten down, like a dog that gets kicked all the time. Unfortunately management acknowledges this, but nothing changes. - Compensation package suffers comparatively to other tech companies in the area. - Budgets don't exist. They'll say you have a budget & autonomy to invest into "your business," but any spending be scrutinized and you'll be in the verbally abused. - Company is not honest about their customers, company size, or employee count. Often they boast to be bigger than they really are. Be aware of this!
