Pros
Good location. Other than that, not much to say here.
Cons
Where does one start? I'll start by saying most of the reviews on here are dead on accurate. Poor morale, poor management and poor training. This list can go on... Be prepared. The company changes it's mind/strategy/sales focus/branding like one would change their underwear. Essentially, it's a company setting it's employees up to fail from day one. I was optimistic, but quickly learned everything that was said on here, is true, and nothing has changed (even from the first review). Management is too determined to make a sales model work that clearly is too hands-off for a technology that requires more hands-on (i.e. account management - which is a role that doesn't exist here). Especially since they're hiring college graduates with zero sales experience and providing them no training. Sure, the compensation plan is pretty good (which is why people stick around and don't leave unless they are fired/laid off), but if you get fired or laid off, be prepared to set realistic expectations that you won't find something that has a compensation plan set-up quite the same way. You aren't that entitled. Be prepared to come in, sit at a desk and start dialing for dollars. If marketing is hiring - find another company. Any best practice you come in with, throw it out the window. It's all about lists, and being a "yes person." Definitely don't have a good idea, it's wasted here. Don't be fooled by the location, paid snacks, ping-pong tourney's, beer Thursdays/Fridays and loud music. It's all smoke and mirrors. I've seen more people who have quit, been laid off or fired in the short amount of time I was there, than I have in my entire career. All departments on alert[sales, marketing, operations) - no one is safe. It's sad, but there's a lot of opportunity, but too bad they have no clue about how to capitalize on it.
