Pros
Very little oversight from executive management, so middle managers can get away with pretty much anything we want!
Cons
Salary is bottom of the barrel. Management is bottom of the barrel (you get what you pay for). Nepotism is rampant. Kind of a dead-end job really. Opportunities are reserved only for friends/family of the CEO, otherwise the management thinks opportunities will make everyone leave. No raises or title changes for increased responsibility. Benefits are poor and get worse every year. Bonuses are non-existent. Average engineer tenure is 2 years.
