Decent pay for a part-time summer job. I made $19/hour (if yearly - $38,000). That is the only pro. I was also a manager.
Cons
-One of the most glaring issues was the company's policy (or lack thereof) concerning compensation for managerial work. Despite having responsibilities that extended well beyond clocked-in hours, managers are not compensated for any of these off-the-clock managerial tasks, irrespective of their importance or time consumption. -Poor communication from upper management regarding expectations and responsibilities. -Felt frequently overwhelmed by responsibilities without clear avenues for assistance. -Inconsistent guidelines for managerial tasks, especially in relation to scheduling and communication with patrons. -Significant administrative and operational challenges made the job more burdensome than anticipated. -Limited support in terms of resources and guidance, especially for off-site tasks.
