Pros

There are some fantastic people that work here (though this number shrinks every quarter) Work life balance is above average Remote work is a plus Benefits are average A good landing spot for someone fresh out of school or someone that wants to update their skills. Direct leadership for IC roles for the most part have people that care and are willing to help when needed.

Cons

Job security is quarterly Company lays off quarterly, especially if they weren’t profitable. The majority of people with titles above a director level are under qualified, dishonest, and untrustworthy. Upper management tends to have their own clicks, it is suggested as a new employee to learn these clicks and to not disagree with them. ICs that are toxic to culture and combative are embraced if they are part of the “in crowd” or do extra work for those in the C suite. Company spends more money advertising positive culture than they do actually providing it for their employees. Company runs like a company trying to be sold Good employees that are invested in the company and provide a positive culture and environment are not valued or appreciated. A lot of people with titles above a director have the content knowledge, but lack the skills to manage people and are often combative and negative towards anyone who has a difference of opinion.

Pros

Remote work, if you're not in Boston or D.C. area.

Cons

Layoffs in an org that's already feeling short-staffed. Again.
