Pros
Some really talented folks with a ton of combined Healthcare industry knowledge. The company culture is pretty decent. A bit lacking in diversity, but again, decent. Benefits were mid, but I've had worse. WFH-centric culture with no guilt trips about not going in to the office.
Cons
Red Flags: 1. Several rounds of "quiet" layoffs in 2023, around the same time the loan from Vista Credit Partners was announced. 2. Inexperienced C-Level, the CEO has little real-world experience outside the company and the acting CTO has never worked in Tech. These two are replacements for much more qualified individuals who left the company to take seats on the Board of Directors. 3. Product is outdated and difficult to sell. Ten years ago it was something that was needed in the industry, but now, any small Data Engineering team with an AWS account can easily create and maintain a similar workflow. This makes the Sales team's job increasingly difficult. 4. Severe Technical Debt. Running on outdated and/or deprecated systems. Many of the critical systems are out-of-date and unsupported with no serious process in place to move to a more modern platform. There has been talk of modernizing for the last several years, but little legitimate effort has been made.
