Pros
- Solid company with great vision, doing amazing things in the networking industry - Wonderful corporate HQ and great remote benefits - Good pay and benefits
Cons
- Lack of direction from all sides, coworkers or management. - Supreme lack of training, no idea what the daily tasks were or how to learn about new tech. Was basically directed toward internal documentation and left alone with out much input. - Tried to build a cohesive environment for remote workers but it was immediately apparent that you were on an island with out a life raft. Documentation can only tell you so much. - Encouraged to write documentation and experiment but never given a specific purpose. It's difficult to solve/write about imagined problems. - Colleagues seemed to only be concerned with bashing competition and making a sale. - General merits of the product were highlighted in an effort to bash competition, even if those merits were half baked. - Told there was no on call schedule but was demanded to be available 24/7 and work late hours if needed. - When feedback was asked for it was non-existent.
