Pros

Continuous training, if you’re in a ECH case then you get on-going supervision by a ACS and BCBA

Cons

Lower paying rates for demanding work, not enough hours to work here full time, yet you need to maintain 30 hours a week min to qualify for insurance, materials such as reinforcers come out of your own pocket. I’ve tried to address this before but I’ve just been told to go to a dollar store but that’s not even the case. It adds up for both parents and providers. For older employees we never get the benefit of paid trainings from when we first started, or $100 bonus start ups, and higher paying rates.

Thank you very much for the feedback. We've made some great improvements this year, including offering all of our Providers more support from Field Supervisors, a better pay structure, and paid certification and Habilitation training. We encourage our more tenured staff such as yourself to register for our updated Habilitator I, II and III training sessions, which will teach new skills and allow you to progress to the top of the pay range. In addition, we'd love to get you more clients which will increase your hours to the 30 mark. Just contact one of our support team and we'll give you all the information you need. Thanks for your continued dedication and support to AZA United, and the great work you do to help kids and families!

Pros

Hands down the best company I've ever worked for; in culture, conduct and overall experience. In my ~15 year IT career working in various industries and IT roles, I may not have always loved the company, the management or the common problems "all companies" have, but I always loved what I did. Working at AZA, I get both; on the job learning alongside my direct supervisor, fun problem-solving and enjoying wins together as a team. Management is extremely accessible and so easy to work with. Scheduled pay raises, so no secrets! I am already growing within the company and there's someone getting promoted on what seems like a weekly basis! Great opportunities to grow in several directions.

Cons

I honestly cannot think of a "con."
