Pros

Depending on which job you're able to get and the store it's located at it can be a pretty fun and easy job. If you get lucky you'll get managers that'll help you out. Say if you need time off on a certain day they'll most likely give it to you. I havent asked for a lot of time offs, but when I do they have never declined it. I have either asked for one or two days and I've also asked for a weeklong vacation and they approved all of them. But like I said it depends on where you work and the managers at your location

Cons

On drill weekends you might have to leave early to get to work on time because you can have a long line that you have to wait in before you get at the gate to get on base. And sometimes you might not even get on if your tags on your car arent correct. You get lots of retirees who complain about everything even though you have no control over the situation.

Pros

- Co-workers are extremely helpful and understanding. - Military patrons are (mostly) much nicer than the civilian customers off base. - Allowed to get creative with sales displays if time allows.

Cons

- Not great for people with existing knee of back pain. - Micromanagement was an issue with middle-management (rare) - inconsistent schedules for part timers.
