Pros

I worked with NASM (Ascend BU) in Chandler, AZ for over 6 years. Though I LOVED my NASM team, I wanted to move back home to the Midwest. I decided I wouldn't do that unless it was for a job within the Ascend family. I was thrilled when I was offered a position at the Leawood, KS office. Not only was I able to go back home but I was provided the opportunity to stay with Ascend and enjoy its amazing culture and benefits. Plus I have my 4 season back!

Cons

We're super busy but to me that's not a con. If a company is growing, (which Ascend is), you have to roll up your sleeves and dive in.

Pros

Decent benefits Hybrid WFH schedule Some really great direct managers

Cons

Chaotic and disorganized, with old outdated backend systems. Work performance and output not generally recognized: people who do very little work are often paid the same, or more than people who do double or triple the workload, and are allowed to continue with the company while other shoulder the load. Once you are on a team or part of a BU - good luck making a move to another team or BU. The place is a revolving door for a lot of positions, but once you learn a skillset they are unlikely to allow a move. The sales team runs this place, so be prepared to be bullied constantly by them, even when you are told to gatekeep.
