Pros

Good office atmosphere to walk into. They do many company events and little things for employees like weekly lunches that are catered once a week

Cons

There is only a work life. You're on call whenever they need you. If you are hired as an EA this is NOT a typical EA position so don't let them dupe you in the interview process. It was an extremely pushy situation where they were trying to make me sign on the spot which is a red flag right there. Promised I wouldn't be working weekends however when I started I was told I wasn't allowed to turn any notifications from my work email off my phone. It was constant stress where I felt like I couldn't turn work off. One I started I immediately realized I was a personal assistant and my role was essentially doing chores for the person I work for. There was very minimal EA work involved.

Pros

Working here has been a transformative experience for my career. The company’s commitment to being AI-first isn't just marketing—it’s reflected in our massive investment in cutting-edge technology and infrastructure. Beyond the tech, the supportive leadership is what truly sets this company apart. My managers have been instrumental in progressing my skill set, providing both the resources and the autonomy I need to grow. If you are looking for rapid career advancement and want to be at the forefront of AI innovation, this is the place.

Cons

The pace is fast because we are moving so quickly in the AI space, so you need to be comfortable with constant change.

Pros

No pros at all except WFH

Cons

1) Was sold a full-time opportunity only to find out 6 weeks in that it was an 8-week proof-of-concept contract. They only hired me because of my previous experience with the client. I never would have accepted an 8-week contract and turned down other job opportunities during this time. I was used. 2) They held onto my HSA funds for over a month and could never explain why and only rectified it after numerous emails. 3) They overcharged me on my medical premiums (I never would have signed up for benefits for an 8-week engagement but thinking it was full-time like my paperwork stated, I did) and it took countless emails over 2 months and opening a complaint with the Department of Labor to get my $400+ back. 4) One month after the engagement, I was notified by unemployment that Ascendion said I was fired (which was a lie, the project ended). I had an adjudication interview with unemployment and shared emails with evidence of such. Ascendion never responded which resulted in delaying my unemployment funds for 30 days.
