Pros

Great people in the GTM teams and technical teams. I'd say very responsible, hard-working, and bright people doing the heavy lifting. Enjoyed most of the interactions with other employees

Cons

The company has a great vision of transitioning into an AI driven company like every other traditional tech company these days... However, the company doesn't have talented management to achieve this goal. The management is filled with playing politics, sucking up sr management, and pointing fingers to employees. This is a problem in most departments with a few exceptions like R&D, PM, and core-tech focused groups. With that being said, the support organization has the worst management of all - they promote the least talented people to managers and there were a few of them who got promoted to manage a different product line from where they were consultants and didn't know a single thing about leadership/technical capabilities of those products. They don't care or know a single thing about the real work done by the consultants on a daily basis and just micro-manage and only pay attention to bureaucratic processes. If anything goes wrong, they will be the first to point fingers at you. The culture is just too toxic for anyone who is seeking professional development and career advancement. The employees talk about these types of issues all the time but no feedback has been implemented

Pros

Good products with large customer base. Product development is innovative and willing to work directly with customers. Base pay for sales reps is improving after the acquisition by Emerson Electric. The Emerson Electric acquisition is received positively by the customers. Internal training is good and readily available. Collaboration between the various departments is excellent.

Cons

New management is focused on running the sales organization by spreadsheet metrics vs. obtaining and improving customer relationships. Product pricing and sales approval processes are very complex. Customers are seen as captives and when they request reasonable changes to their contract, they are often denied if there is not significant revenue growth (results in bad relationships). Sales management is spending more time in internal meetings than with customers and their reps.
