Pros
Well, the perks were: flexible hours, work at home, decent salary considering I made it into a software engineering role from hardware test, 9/80 schedule. They gave me a phone (an iPhone no less), nice touch. Work/life balance was good, but then they never really gave me any work to do, so moot point.
Cons
Work was spotty, mostly busy work or trying to pass time. Was told upon onboarding that they were very excited (and so was I), but that faded fast. I worked from Orlando with another site, and the lack of network bandwidth was ridiculous; during a status meeting there was a motivational "video" played and it was like watching a slideshow in slow motion. This is 2023, not 1999... Oh, and you have to stay glued to your PC, they track your work time via Teams status. If you leave your computer, your status changes to "away". Might wanna buy a mouse jiggler.
