Pros

Great Pay. Great Benefits. Great break and lunch rooms. Great Co-Workers.

Cons

Well with the above you would think it would all be Pros right? Well just as most have said you're micro managed to no end. You will also take calls from people who are upset 95% of the time due to their phone service. From the point you answer the phone to the point you end the call you will either be yelled at by the customer for things out of your control. You will have the customer not listen to you then get angry because you can't resolve the issue. Then comes trying to escalate the call to a Supervisor or Lead, good luck this will result in a longer wait for the customer and you to be abused by the customer as they are most likely busy trying to defuse another situation. Overall the job will be placed to you as a help desk position when in reality you're there to hold the customers hand through using their device. Now you would think this doesn't sound bad right? No I mean if they call because they have no clue how to add a contact to their phone from being able to beat a level on a game you have to help them with it. It doesn't matter if they are asking you for assistance in adding every single contact to their phone you are required to help them. You will only have about 5% of issues that you can resolve since most are related to the device itself or the area they live in to be honest.

Pros

The job does pay well and does give you commission and mileage back. It’s 22.05 an hour and .77 cents per mile ( you will drive a lot and your mileage check will probably be the same as your weekly check )

Cons

The job is hyper focused on pushing people to sell VHDP or HTP (VHDP Verizon Home Device Protection ), ( Home Tech Protection ). The job doesn’t really care for the financial situation of a client and will say “ well you could have told them even though they are on a fixed income, they can still get the plan and talk to their ISP about financial hardship “ the staffing is sometimes very scarce and is also very lack of consideration for driving far off with no help if you get stuck. If you happen to have a vehicle issue ( which you will ) you have 7 days to get it back up in running before you get either written up or let go. I did enjoy working for this company, but it was mentally taxing and always was about getting every dollar out the customer even though they already paid for the visit for you to come out, and the phone replacement which they have to pay for monthly. Once you have worked for the company for atleast 90 days you will get a tablet and they will make you start doing Verizon consultation about the customers WiFi and try to sell them these 90 dollar WiFi just so they can make the most money possible. It’s all just give me money even though you already gave me money
