Pros
A good place to start your career as a fresher. You wont be on bench for long. Even if you are on bench, you time will be spent productively as you will be used as extras for some or other project. Learning curve is excellent. You will learn a lot of things in short time. Here they expect self learners, mentors are almost non existent. Work life balance is excellent as they rarely require you to stay over time. Also the number of paid leaves are highest in the consulting firms i have seen.
Cons
In the long run, i have come to find the salary hike & appreciation is not up to the mark. This has caused high level of attrition in talented people leaving the organization. Lack of quality mentors in projects causing difficulties for new joiners in project. At Chennai location there is a lot of favouritism shown to regional employees over the global workforce. This breeds mistrust and dissatisfaction among employees. The appraisal review & ratings is not transparent. Anything can be said behind closed doors by PL/PM but the real ratings are a shocker for most when released.
