Pros
- Flat structure - Easy for anyone to reach out to anyone - Opportunities to work in area of choice - provided customers are on board - Great if you are an Indian - not so great if you're not.
Cons
- No accountability - Bare minimum performers can get away with a lot if you're in the good books of management - No defined processes - exceptions are the norm. Again, if you're in the good books of management, you can get away with anything or do anything - Favoritism - Very very evident within weeks of joining. Scan through the reviews to see how big a problem this is. - Visionless Leadership - The CEO spends days approving expenses instead of strategizing. Rakesh Khanna can actually get involved with the most minutest petty aspects of a project if he's under pressure and is prone to taking it out on employees. His rather rudderless management just passes this downwards resulting in a net toxic atmosphere.
