      Pros

      It is a job. If you mess up and goof off you can get promoted

      Cons

      No real wage increase. Little chance for advancement. If you develop a disability it will take forever and then won't really receive an accommodation. Work hard and do great work then you may stay right where you are. Not the CHS of 10 years ago.

      easy job if you're experienced in research

      Cons

      (this is for the peds research dept) -management is horrible -prepare to be micromanaged on every little task -expected to call patients at night
