Pros

Ethical company. Follows Medicare policy. Company match on 401k. Annual bonus based on performance review, but all salaries are capped and once you hit your cap you will not receive a bonus and will stay at the same salary forever.

Cons

Stay at the same salary once you hit your salary cap. Supervisory positions are only available to PTs and RNs. Other disciplines are not eligible to apply for any supervisory position. Most supervisors have less education than clinicians, i.e. a supervisor with an associate's degree supervises a clinician with a doctorate. No clinical ladder. Most care is PT-focused. Health insurance is extremely expensive. I pay $400+ per month for myself and spouse, and must pay $5600 deductible fully out of pocket before they pay anything. It costs $319/visit to see my CHS PCP. PTO is very limited. You must use the same PTO bank for holidays, sick days, and vacation. Want to take off Christmas Day? Better have eight hours of PTO saved up or you have to work. You must use PTO even when the office is closed for holidays and bad weather. This company has policies for their policies. Every week we are informed of a new policy we must follow daily. Not kidding. Management definitely micromanages with the abundance of policies. The majority of my day is spent documenting and driving 100+ miles, not focused on patient care. Even what we do on patient visits is dictated by management, i.e. "You should spend eight minutes doing this, five minutes doing this...," etc. Again, not kidding. High turnover of nursing staff.
