REMOVE THE DRAW - Automotive Service Advisor AutoNation Employee Review

Pros

Consistent volume and potential to sell if you really push for it. Great colleagues and benefits.

Cons

Though you're in a higher tax bracket, you have the draw during the first pay period of "$1750". If you notice, your draw of that amount won't always be the same every first pay period. You work super hard for the end of the month, your commission pay. You have to gross over $70k and have a good csi just to get above $3k, They then remove the draw ($1750) out of your commission pay on your second paycheck above getting taxed. This is Autonation's way of cheaping out of your paycheck as an advisor. If you could get paid your hourly for the first half of the month and then get paid your commission at the end of the month without the draw, it would be a great job!

Pros

Introduction / pathway into higher ticket sales, negotiation experience and networking with clientele. Some of the best benefits compared to other Automotive companies.

Cons

Unfortunately I’ve dealt with harassment, religious discrimination, and just blatant disrespect on a daily basis. I look forward to leaving.
