Pros

Modern and accommodating office space. Many benefits for employees. Good pay.

Cons

Expectations for customer service do not accommodate the employees mental health. Worked at an extreme pace & tracked to the very second. Not given time during the workday to finish workload & being forced to work overtime to avoid consequences for unfinished work.

Thank you for taking the time to write your review and for the positive comments on our offices, employees, and compensation. But we want to address a critical topic that you mention, mental health. Availity places a high degree of importance on mental health and is committed to promoting a life with balance. Each week, our CEO provides updates, and in many of them, he encourages associates to take the time to care for themselves physically and mentally. This summer, he also led the organization in a Chase your Goals challenge, where associates committed to working on or achieving a personal health or growth goal. We host virtual chair yoga for associates, and we hold lunch-and-learns that focus on topics from life stressors to cancer prevention to financial wellness. Through our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) all associates have access to free counseling sessions, and then there’s our robust Paid Time Off program. Availity is a fast-paced organization, particularly customer service. Anyone feeling stressed in their role is encouraged to speak with their manager, their HR business partner or to reach out for assistance through Availity’s free EAP program.

Pros

Great culture and people. As long as you’re doing your job and producing, I have not run into any micromanaging etc. work life balance is awesome

Cons

Silo’s are common but getting better each day. That can happen with remote companies. Lots of new products and changes with new leadership etc so need to adapt
