Pros

Having worked at other call centers before, Availity is by far the best at onboarding and training new hires. Even working remotely, supervisors and subject matter experts are only a click away when help is needed. Availity is invested in employee success.

Cons

Still a massive amount of information to learn, especially if you haven't worked in the Healthcare industry before.

Thank you for providing insight into what a new associate can expect at Availity. We work hard to provide the necessary training and tools for each associate to succeed. And, while we have become a remote company, we strive to be accessible to anyone who needs our help by just being a click away. This industry is ever-changing, so we hear you about the amount of information to learn. While the healthcare industry can seem complex, we try to break down all the information in a way that makes sense. Learning something new daily comes with the territory and happens even to our most seasoned healthcare professionals. So, we have designed our training to help new associates get up to speed at a pace that is not too overwhelming. Again, thank you for your review, and we are so happy to have you in our call center taking care of our customers.

Pros

Great culture and people. As long as you’re doing your job and producing, I have not run into any micromanaging etc. work life balance is awesome

Cons

Silo’s are common but getting better each day. That can happen with remote companies. Lots of new products and changes with new leadership etc so need to adapt
