Pros

The people working on the ground are overall intelligent and a joy to work with Work was varied and clients were on the whole nice to work with I've not posted for a long time as I genuinely loved working here in the early years.

Cons

High performers overworked while poor performance went unmanaged, creating an unsustainable workload No bonus awarded for my entire employment (was there between 5-10yrs) despite our team over achieving target Following the middle management redundancies, decision making at senior level lacked clarity for those responsible for delivery Progression or pay increases typically required presenting a job offer from another company There was little ongoing interest in training or long term employee development I left proactively to control the timing of my departure instead of facing potential redundancy which generally happened just before Christmas or end of financial year

Pros

Incredible co-workers who genuinely supported each other doing innovative interesting work.

Cons

Culture has eroded in recent years. Hours are unsustainable for those driving success in the business. Significant talent has been lost and not replaced. Internal folks keep taking on more and stepping into roles previously held by people with decades more experience and more robust staffs. They are setup to fail by a leadership with minimal understanding of large parts of the business. Leadership is toxic, feigning interest in feedback from employees, learning the business, and restructuring for long term growth and health of the business. Instead, egotistical leadership interested in associating their names with shiny digital products or propping up their pet projects continues to burn cash while the core business suffers. Such a classic case of buying a brand and hollowing out what built it.
