Pros
I've worked for a fair few companies in my time and I've learnt that no company/business/employer is faultless, however, I'd say Fishawack are doing a pretty good job. I feel really lucky to work for this company, I don't even slightly dread coming into work each day, I love my job, and I personally feel valued and appreciated. What more could you ask? The people are good, the office is nice, the work is interesting, there’s flexibility and trust – I’m a happy employee! There are good perks working for this company, summer and Christmas parties, bonuses, pay reviews, an office lunch every now and again. It’s not over the top, but I think it’s beyond the minimum and I don’t expect much more than that. The company are flexible and trusting. You can work from home every now and then, you get sick pay, I’m left to do my work without constant micromanaging, which I also appreciate. There’s a lot of work, so working for this company suits people who like to be busy and work hard and enjoy some team spirit in getting things done together to meet deadlines. I would have no qualms recommending this company, I hope to continue working here for a long time.
Cons
The only cons I can think of are universal to most companies. There could be a little better communication across the company as sometimes things don't get filtered down or explained; the workflow and quantity of work could be a little better balanced so no one's working late or swamped (although my experience is that this mostly isn't required and is only occasionally asked of you).
