Pros

The tenured Reps are great to work with and try to help.

Cons

There is absolutely no vision for the future. Selling the same product for 15 years with no research or innovation to compete in the market. Training did nothing to prepare the reps for their jobs. There is no cohesiveness between messaging and data.

Thank you for taking the time to share your input. We regularly survey our employees and customers, and appreciate feedback that enables Avanos to become stronger, more innovative and more responsive. Avanos is a young company with an ambitious vision. We’re extremely proud of the progress we have made since the launch of this company less than two years ago, and we’re excited about the opportunities and important work before us. With increased investment in R&D, several recent acquisitions and a new global ERP system, we are better positioned than ever to achieve our vision of being the best at getting patients back to the things that matter. Again, thank you for sharing your thoughts. If you have any additional comments or questions, we invite you to email recruiting.support@avanos.com.

Cons

I joined as an SME in my field and found myself in total chaos. The project was led by people who had never developed an electronic device, any product whatsoever. Still, instead of listening to SMEs, they had a huge ego and pushed their agenda constantly. With a lot of distractions, discrimination, and disrespect for almost two years, I stayed there. The project took forever to develop because of the lack of experience and the huge ego of those who led it. The company underwent 3-4 reconstructions during my stay, two CEO changes, and two rounds of layoffs, including the third, when I was laid off. You can guess who stayed in the company - those who led the project and caused the chaos. Stay away from them.
