Pros

None unless you want to be working 60 hr weeks and get paid less than a cashier at McDonald’s. All the positive reviews are ALL FAKE added so they can offset all the negative on here. Crushed all the legacy VWR dreams of what this company should have been. The male dominant leadership team that’s getting a huge payout to go public when they’ve done nothing but lie from day one. No bonuses, commissions, OT, and most important US workers were laid off to pay India to do a horrible job WTF!!!

Cons

The president Michael is getting a payout of $14M with this IPO. All the numbers are lies so investors would be idiots to invest in them. Half the sales team left so they are not back filling positions to show better numbers on the books. Oh like others have said no women on the leadership team so it’s a male dominant pigs. HR is fake and look the other way but only step in if an employee does something so Avantor gets its way no matter what. Your an idiot if you work for this company. You will be so stressed out and either lose your hair or die of a heart attack. Nobody has hit a target so they can keep everyone’s money. So wrong hope karma bites these guys in the ...... bad for messing with others livelihood. Penny pinchers!!!

Pros

Avantor has top-tier people you get to work with and around. The company does a great job focusing on people and their development. Over the past several years, the Company has continued to highlight its purpose and impact by enabling science and supporting our customers who do amazing things for humankind.

Cons

Since Avantor has similar value streams under different leaders, this tends to lead to redundancy or counterproductive activities.

Pros

starting pay and the ability to work independently.

Cons

There is a significant amount of workplace drama and unprofessional behavior within the team, which can make the environment feel more like a high school setting than a professional workplace. Management appears to have limited understanding of employees' day-to-day responsibilities and is often resistant to feedback or process improvement suggestions. Employees may feel discouraged from raising concerns or proposing changes. Advancement opportunities also seem limited, with promotions and career growth often perceived as being influenced by personal relationships rather than merit. Additionally, the annual performance review process can be frustrating, as employees may feel that the scoring system makes it difficult to achieve the highest ratings and corresponding compensation increases, regardless of performance. Finally, there are concerns about workload distribution, with some leadership positions appearing to have fewer responsibilities than other team members.
