Pros
A few genuinely decent coworkers. Decent benefits. Reasonably good vehicle allowance
Cons
1) 6 interviews; offered job had it for 6 months then former employee wants job back and I’m fired for no reason. 2) was assured when hired there would be no layoffs or job stoppage. 3) did not offer any severance 4) the “unlimited time off” is bs! You get nothing when you depart expectedly or not. 5) highly inadequate onboarding - not specific to my division, extensive training about their convoluted in-house processes but not in person training it’s self study and if you have an issue or question you will receive another site to not get an answer. 6) managers are ineffective without an ounce of support when new. Mine went incommunicado for over a month when I was just weeks in the company and I had no idea who to reach out to with questions. 7) HR is unbelievably bad. They are still an old school type organization with no “People Team”, instead styled like it’s still 1978. The HR partner I was aligned with wore shoulder length straggly looking hair and looked as bad as he performed at his role as well. I have zero kind words for this company. They have a history of being given this amazing buffet and filling it with anorexic people. Meaning they don’t manage their gift of non stop in-house referral business they squander that away with little upper management direction. They did me dirty and what and how it went down is of the lowest lows I have encountered professionally in my career.
