Pros
Company that leads with its values and attracts an intelligent, creative and thoughtful team overall. Fantastic discount. Great continuing education and new product training (TBD if their investment in this continues). Fabulous product and caring leadership team, especially at the top of the company. CEO, President etc are all very invested in the success and happiness of their employees.
Cons
Work/life balance was a struggle- constantly short staffed at the retail level. Extremely frugal corporate policies. Store managers not able to run their store efficiently because expenses would not be approved (and they did not have their own company card). Retail direction is caught up in rapid growth, micro managing low level employees and their guest service and customers are sensing a loss of brand identity in this process. Pay is very low for the skill and competence expected at all levels. Since i have left it seems that they are continuing to aggressively go after the bottom line and it is affecting morale (eliminating regional training meetings while I was there, and now cutting the annual management conference which was a highlight in my time there). I felt I didn't always get the resources I needed to be successful in my role. Retail hours and work life balance were also a huge challenge.
