Pros
The company is very adept at portraying the brand culture they would like you to see, which results in lots of well-being practices that are nice (albeit, insincere and contrived).
Cons
The company identifies as being considerate to the environment, though they do not provide recycling services for store operations (sure, they will let you return empty Aveda bottles, but that's not to help the environment, that's to help Aveda cut costs by reusing your empty bottle), nor do they package shipments conscientiously, wasting loads and loads of paper and boxes. Management is friendly, but out of touch and remote. Aveda is all smoke and mirrors, with one hell of a marketing team to ensure you think they're "all-natural" and "environmentally friendly" without EVER making any such claims whatsoever.
