As Aveda is part of the Estée Lauder Companies, their benefits were incredible. The gratis incentives were great , as a 10 year employee, I had 1 month of paid vacation a year on top of 80 hours of sick time.
Cons
Absolutely NO room for growth. Stores are rapidly closing and there’s no intent of opening new locations. The attendance point system is VERY much MICROMANAGED. We were forced to document high performing employees who relied on unpredictable public transit. Depending on your location, you’ll pay over $200 a month to park at work. You’ll be strung along with promises of growth only to take part in “courtesy interviews” where you’ll wait a month before being told that they’ve “chosen another candidate” or simply won’t be given the opportunity to interview at all.
