Pros

SOME of your managers are down to earth they may be leaving soon. They actually do allow you to work part time!

Cons

Part time could mean 1 day a week depending on if the manager likes you! Put in for time off may not get it based on seniority, most of the managers are more interested in gossip and being friends until corporate gets involved then they want to be managers, employees are allowed to gossip like high school kids. Take FOR EVER to give you proper uniform, weather gear! favorites are allowed to call out whenever they please, pay is just 1 dollar above minimum, get a raise make sure you are getting a Fair Minimum Pay or just starting because some started with more than others to do the same job! told about meetings the day of, if you dont know about it oh well!

Pros

Avis Budget Group is a phenomenal company that invests in their people through care, communication, and recognition. I believe that leadership is authentic and genuine taking the time to ensure alignment and buy-in at all levels of the organization. The company also invests heavily in innovation and is poised to continue making strides in becoming the best vehicle rental company in the world. I am excited to see the future of Avis Budget as we embark on a historic celebration of 80 years ! This is a great place to work with endless opportunities.

Cons

At this time I don’t feel that there are necessarily cons, I think the company is rapidly changing to remain competitive in highly competitive environment and as we grow we will continue to improve opportunities identified.

Pros

I've been with Avis Budget Group for 16 years, and one of the biggest reasons I've stayed is the opportunity for growth. I've had multiple promotions throughout my career because the company has consistently been willing to invest in people who work hard, take ownership, and deliver results. No two days are ever the same, which keeps the work interesting. I've had the chance to lead teams in multiple markets, work alongside talented leaders, and continually develop new skills. The business is fast-paced, but it gives you the opportunity to make decisions, solve problems, and have a real impact on both customers and employees. I've worked with leaders who genuinely care about developing talent, and many of the people I've worked with have built long-term careers here. If you're willing to put in the effort, there are significant opportunities to grow professionally and take on increasing levels of responsibility. The company also continues to invest in new technology and operational improvements, making it easier to serve customers and support employees.

Cons

Like any customer-facing operation, there are busy periods that can be demanding, especially during holidays and peak travel seasons. Success requires flexibility, strong communication, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs. The pace isn't for everyone, but for people who enjoy problem-solving, leadership, and working in an environment where every day is different, those challenges become opportunities to learn and grow.
