Pros

Company car, Health insurance, Vision, Dental, 401K, a paycheck, ability to pay some of my bills.

Cons

First, I'd like to address the sudden rash of 4 and 5 star reviews over the last 6-10 months, Hello? It's clear that either HR or upper-management are soliciting these posts from newer employees. I think it will be interesting to see what these employees have to say after a year of work. I am going to guess that the reviews won't be filled with sunshine and butterflies like they are now. This is a horrible company for which to work. They will suck the life out of you and then spit you out. You are not a person to them, but a resource, a number on a P&L, that's it.

Pros

Avis Budget Group is a phenomenal company that invests in their people through care, communication, and recognition. I believe that leadership is authentic and genuine taking the time to ensure alignment and buy-in at all levels of the organization. The company also invests heavily in innovation and is poised to continue making strides in becoming the best vehicle rental company in the world. I am excited to see the future of Avis Budget as we embark on a historic celebration of 80 years ! This is a great place to work with endless opportunities.

Cons

At this time I don’t feel that there are necessarily cons, I think the company is rapidly changing to remain competitive in highly competitive environment and as we grow we will continue to improve opportunities identified.

Pros

I've been with Avis Budget Group for 16 years, and one of the biggest reasons I've stayed is the opportunity for growth. I've had multiple promotions throughout my career because the company has consistently been willing to invest in people who work hard, take ownership, and deliver results. No two days are ever the same, which keeps the work interesting. I've had the chance to lead teams in multiple markets, work alongside talented leaders, and continually develop new skills. The business is fast-paced, but it gives you the opportunity to make decisions, solve problems, and have a real impact on both customers and employees. I've worked with leaders who genuinely care about developing talent, and many of the people I've worked with have built long-term careers here. If you're willing to put in the effort, there are significant opportunities to grow professionally and take on increasing levels of responsibility. The company also continues to invest in new technology and operational improvements, making it easier to serve customers and support employees.

Cons

Like any customer-facing operation, there are busy periods that can be demanding, especially during holidays and peak travel seasons. Success requires flexibility, strong communication, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs. The pace isn't for everyone, but for people who enjoy problem-solving, leadership, and working in an environment where every day is different, those challenges become opportunities to learn and grow.
