Business Outlook
Pros
* Compensation can be high, and AEs do try to give a ton of opportunities at-bat for BDRS * Camaraderie between BDR/SDRs. It's a sucky job at any company, and it's nice to have a warm relationship with your team
Cons
* Obsessed with rewording the product to cover the fact that it's a premium staffing agency. * Used to have a strategy to recruit Ivy and top Liberal Arts grads (who might lack hard skills) to be BDRs. It's a bold strategy, but it leads to a lot of wasted mental power on the part of the BDRs, especially as management tried to siphon them into a sales career instead of other roles. They now recruit more grads from big state schools who genuinely want a sales career, which is probably a better strategy.
