Pros

Wonderful, invested, passionate people at the state level. Always overcame whatever obstacles that were thrown at management. Open-door policy at the stores, with co-workers that won't hesitate to help with any issues that arise.

Cons

Ayr Wellness rebranded from Ayr Strategies, a Canadian Cannabis investment firm. While they purchased many top names in different cannabis markets, the abundance of finance-minded "higher ups" did not necessarily understand the MA cannabis market as a whole. They utilized generic retail models and attempted to copy what they had successfully done out west in Nevada, without attempting to learn the Massachusetts market first. I personally survived five separate rounds of lay-offs, until becoming a part of them as well.

Pros

I loved working here as a delivery driver, its just that my location got shut down, or run out. Management was great towards us drivers, can't say about the rest of the place but they seemed happy.

Cons

Long hours - if that's not for you.

Pros

-Generous Holiday and PTO plans -Solid benefits package -Relaxed place of work

Cons

-Drama & toxic culture - feels very high school esque, upper management lacks the ability to address unprofessional behaviors and set good examples for the team -Disorganized training - Little to no support for management, you are thrown to the wolves. Sink or swim style. Everyone is burnt out quickly hence the high turnover. -No growth - getting a review or coaching is an afterthought. You will spend each day in survival mode tackling issues as they arise and upper management struggles to keep up with bonus payouts and leadership development.
