Pros

- God is Number One is everything we do - The virtual aspect allows for true flexibility and balance of work/life - Great culture and people - The company is truly invested in your success - Personal gatherings/interactions allow for you to really feel connected in a remote world - Leadership really does care, it's refreshing! - Great camaraderie and team spirit. There is always more than one person who is willing to jump in and help, answer questions or be a sounding board for you - Bonuses and opportunities to put a little extra in your pocket/bank - The ability to serve and support our clients and contractors with the knowledge that you have an amazing level of support behind you - Leadership training - PTO level is pretty great compared to other companies I have worked for - Team and corporate family volunteer days - Volunteer time off to serve and support in the community. It is important to be able to give back and this starts from the very top. - The core values

Cons

- No clear career path, however, the company is growing exponentially and so there are opportunities for growth and/or to switch departments - Company is all Mac-based. I am not a Mac fan and would prefer to have the option to select laptop operating system. Nothing that is done cannot be performed on either system

Pros

Working for Belay has completely changed our family! We now have the ability to truly prioritize what we find most important. Belay also makes the onboarding process so smooth. They were with me and so encouraging through every step!

Pros

Somewhat Flexible Work from Home

Cons

Low Pay Clients pay Belay $50-$60/hr for Virtual Assistant but they don't know that Belay is only paying the VA $20/hr so they expect $60 attention. High expectations and desired attention for very low pay. VA's are in contract with Belay. So if one of their engagements want them to work for them to work for them full time outside of Belay they have to buy out the VA'a contract with Belay that could be up to $20k. If the engagement can't afford to do that they have to wait 2 years after their contract and after the VA's contract ends with Belay.

We regularly review the pay rate of our contractors to ensure it reflects both client demand and the value our contractors bring.
