Clients pay more than double what you are paid You can only make $21/hr tops Belay will let you go without warning nor will they communicate this with your clients Your contract states you are not allowed to work with your clients for 2 years after you leave Belay You will have to be bought out and that's like $25,000

Our VA rates start between $19-$22 per hour, depending on factors such as experience, qualifications, skillset, and location. Additionally, our Virtual Assistants and Marketing Assistants have the opportunity to request a rate review annually to assess eligibility for an increase. While client pricing varies by package, BELAY’s fees support the resources and services that ensure an exceptional experience for both our contractors and clients. Regarding communication, transparency is a top priority for us. We strive to provide real-time feedback and open dialogue throughout your time with BELAY. We would love to learn more about your experience with communication so we can address any concerns. In instances where a client and contractor wish to work independently outside of BELAY, they would need to discuss buyout options with their Client Success Consultant. These costs vary based on the client's specific contract and package details. Again, we appreciate your time and input. Somewhat Flexible Work from Home

Cons

Low Pay Clients pay Belay $50-$60/hr for Virtual Assistant but they don't know that Belay is only paying the VA $20/hr so they expect $60 attention. High expectations and desired attention for very low pay. VA's are in contract with Belay. So if one of their engagements want them to work for them to work for them full time outside of Belay they have to buy out the VA'a contract with Belay that could be up to $20k. If the engagement can't afford to do that they have to wait 2 years after their contract and after the VA's contract ends with Belay.

We regularly review the pay rate of our contractors to ensure it reflects both client demand and the value our contractors bring.
