Cons
You will wait 3-4 years for promotions even as a stand out. Everyone gets "met expectations" not matter if you did good or bad work. For promotions you will get the standard 10% no matter what your base is or how good you are, and sometimes they will cheap out and give you 6-7%. Bonuses are really bad. $500 for analyst levels and tops out at $3000 after 10 years. Raises are generally 1-1.7% or so. Usually under $1000 increase for most. Any requests for additional compensation will be ignored or strung out over a year and then ignored. If you advocate for yourself they will choose you if they are forced to thin the staff. Your best bet will be to take their starting salary, work for a few years and then move on. There are much more willing to pay someone a fair salary off the street than someone that has been doing standout work for them for a decade.
