Pros
Ability to say you "worked" for big name companies
Cons
Everything is a con working for BSI. The lack of professionalism, mismanagement, miscommunication, nepotism, and favoritism is what drove me away from this company. There is no career growth in the field of EHS at BSI. You're either a glorified assistant or a seller and neither of those choices helps with developing a strong EHS background. I get that you need to make money and need to sell services to clients, but don't force people to sell. There is no work-life balance at BSI, don't let management tell you otherwise. They make a big deal of consultants going "above and beyond" for clients. I've heard stories where consultants share they "woke up at 2 in the morning to drive an hour to a client site." Lastly, there is a high turnover rate at BSI. My former colleagues and I left BSI within months of each other.
