Which meant my pay period ended two days later, and my first paycheck, on Sep 1st, was only for two days. I won't get paid again until October 1st (which will be half the stipend for the US, and half my deployed pay.) My first FULL salary paycheck won't be until November 1st. Again, not a HUGE issue, but definitely takes an extra level of planning and care on this pay schedule, at least at the beginning.
