Pros

Some of the nicest and smartest people you could want to work with.

Cons

Great ideas limited by a few managers blocking ideas, feeding on people’s fear, burning out staff so they can take credit for their work.

Thanks for the feedback. In regard to our kind and intelligent people we completely agree and feel it takes one to know one:-) It’s disappointing to hear you feel unrecognized for your achievements. However, we are puzzled by your comments related to exploitation of our corporate culture. Whenever a member of the Backstop Team submits a letter of resignation, we hold extensive exit interviews in order to learn more about their overall experience within the company. We value learning and growth above all, and within our previous feedback, this theme has never been voiced. As you know we are staunchly protective of the collaborative culture and go to great lengths to cultivate our growth mindset. Here is where we need proactive colleagues like you to help us. We implore you to come to any member of our People & Development team and provide context for this concern so we can work with you and our other colleagues to collectively find an achievable solution.

Pros

Loved the team I was on. Processes are lock-tight with stellar internal trainings and resources to prepare you for your role. Help was always available from leadership. Pay and benefits were good too.

Cons

Volume of work was way too high creating burnout. Culture was too political and mainly leaning one way. Executives can be way too harsh toward middle management seeing this on more than one occasion on calls.
