Pros
Great pay. Great benefits. The HR employees are very nice. I enjoyed the work; you were almost always busy and it made the shift go by very fast.
Cons
An emotionally exhausting, toxic environment. Training there is a nightmare; there are no legitimate trainers. Every person employed there trains... and essentially none of them want to be doing it. In other words, you get poor training and are abruptly thrown into the world of Baker Boy where some people are kind and helpful but the majority are annoyed and yell at you when you don't know how to do something you were never taught how to do. I was training a new employee after only having been employed there for two months, and due to a winter storm where we lost a week, it wasn't even a full two months! When I tried to express my discomfort over this, a fellow employee immediately become hostile towards me and wouldn't speak to me for any other reason than to yell at me that it was my own fault for not feeling prepared to train someone yet. There is a decent amount of yelling. It helps to foster a cold, cruel environment that makes you curl up into yourself and wonder just what you're willing to put up with for twenty bucks an hour.
