Pros
Cannot speak for the clinical portion of this organization as I work in the Corporate side. However, Baptist has great benefits for all employees. Health insurance is very reasonable, 403(b) matching is average for the market, bonuses are given every quarter, and PTO is accrued. Leaders are generally nice and knowledgeable as they have long tenure in the organization. A lot of corporate departments are hybrid or remote which is very nice.
Cons
The current leaders in the Technology department have a BIG gap of knowledge of the organization and of healthcare which is causing internal issues. Executive leadership seems to be too far removed from their workforce and dont have an accurate pulse on the wants and needs of employees. Overall, they grew too fast and now are severely disjointed in how each site works and operates. They combine entities without actual implementation and documentation of new or current workflows. Unfortunately this organization is severely disorganized in many aspects and it is affecting the patient experience which in turn affects profit.
