Pros

* Pay is relatively good and you have opportunity for bonuses and commissions… even though the commission structure is incredibly confusing and not normally followed (per company policy)

Cons

* Incredibly "siloed" organization with inconsistent and unpredictable management * Very poor communication and cooperation between the silos * Was just acquired by Toyota Material Handling, so lots of uncertainty for future * Sales engineer in the Memphis, TN office was incredibly difficult to deal with and was very unprofessional in front of clients * Not family-friendly * Lots of travel at the drop of a hat * Tons of expectations of your time and being available at any time/shift with very little notice * Definitely not a 8-5 position * Lots of rejection * A lot of work (months) will go into a project quote and nothing will come of it

Pros

Good for gaining experience Free Snacks Gain one more day of vacation each year you work there

Cons

Goodness, the nepotism and favoritism of this place is crazy. CEO's daughter is allowed to work remote from Michigan while the rest of her team is forced to be in the office in Carmel. Management is a good old boys club. Has the attitude that you should be available 24-7 for work or overtime compensation or flex time. When challenged they said "That's what I had to do back in the day" like a typical boomer. Slowly has rolled back all benefits and perks of being in person in the office. I once had a dentist appointment and was asked if I cpuld just take it on my lunch break instead of working from home for the afternoon and taking it right after work. At times feels like a sitcom for a cookie cutter toxic office
