Pros

Management is always open to trying new technologies and/or new processes to improve things. The company has assembled a great team and we get to work on very interesting projects. You’re never on “auto pilot” or looking for work to keep busy while working at Bastian. Everyone is dedicated to helping our customers, expanding our product along with bettering employee knowledge and experience along the way. Employees are given the vision and the tools/space to get the work done. It’s very rewarding to help our customers stay competitive in their respective industries. If you work hard and excel in your work you are rewarded (both the intrinsic reward of a job well done and financially).

Cons

I love coming to work every day but not all people like a fast paced and challenging environment. If you don’t have a passion for your career choice then you should look elsewhere.

Pros

Good for gaining experience Free Snacks Gain one more day of vacation each year you work there

Cons

Goodness, the nepotism and favoritism of this place is crazy. CEO's daughter is allowed to work remote from Michigan while the rest of her team is forced to be in the office in Carmel. Management is a good old boys club. Has the attitude that you should be available 24-7 for work or overtime compensation or flex time. When challenged they said "That's what I had to do back in the day" like a typical boomer. Slowly has rolled back all benefits and perks of being in person in the office. I once had a dentist appointment and was asked if I cpuld just take it on my lunch break instead of working from home for the afternoon and taking it right after work. At times feels like a sitcom for a cookie cutter toxic office
