Pros

Working as a Project Accountant at Bastian Solutions for 3.5 years has been a rewarding and enriching experience. The role offered a great balance of challenging tasks and opportunities for professional growth. I was able to enhance my skills in financial reporting, budgeting, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on large-scale projects. The company fosters a collaborative and supportive work culture, and leadership is approachable and responsive to feedback. I appreciated the emphasis on innovation and continuous improvement, which kept the work dynamic and engaging. I also appreciated the emphatic environment, as English is not my first language (I am from Venezuela), my team and the entire company made me feel truly included and part of the family since day 1! While the workload could be demanding at times, the team-oriented environment made it manageable, and the experience strengthened my time management and problem-solving skills. Overall, Bastian Solutions is a solid company for anyone looking for opportunities.

Cons

Nothing at all. This place truly cultivates an exceptional environment.

Pros

Good for gaining experience Free Snacks Gain one more day of vacation each year you work there

Cons

Goodness, the nepotism and favoritism of this place is crazy. CEO's daughter is allowed to work remote from Michigan while the rest of her team is forced to be in the office in Carmel. Management is a good old boys club. Has the attitude that you should be available 24-7 for work or overtime compensation or flex time. When challenged they said "That's what I had to do back in the day" like a typical boomer. Slowly has rolled back all benefits and perks of being in person in the office. I once had a dentist appointment and was asked if I cpuld just take it on my lunch break instead of working from home for the afternoon and taking it right after work. At times feels like a sitcom for a cookie cutter toxic office
