Pros
The compensation is good, and lower grades are capped at 80hrs/2 weeks with overtime paid at time and a half if you go over. They also had 9 hour days with every other Friday off. If you're looking to move around the country, and even the world, you will get those opportunities since Bechtel seemingly has projects everywhere
Cons
While on a government job, the work can be monotonous and boring. Seems to have a lot more paper pushing than adding actual value through the work. I got the feeling of the tail wagging the dog with many layers of management on the project which added to the paper-pushing mentality of the part of the project I was involved on.
