Pros

-Pay for your RBT certification -Teach valuable skills to therapists that transfer to a lot of jobs -support from other staff members -put you with different kids based on your strengths -flexible schedule, understanding of family emergencies and last minute things -advance from within

Cons

-little money spent on classrooms. Teachers provide a lot -possibility of physical harm to therapist, admin doesn't really care once their legal liability is out of the way -high turnover, don't know if it's the low pay or the hard work -management will do what brings in the most money. Rarely sends sick kids home and manipulates insurance rates

Pros

The kids were great to work with.

Cons

Management tried to get me to do unethical things and when I reported it they wrote me up in retaliation. Pay is very low. They do not give raises past a year. This creates high turn over of experienced employees.
