Pros

Working with the kids. Seeing them grow into what they can become Center based therapy

Cons

I've been working for Behavioral Innovations for over a year now. Since my time with BI, I have only recieved a quarter raise. The PTO system is garbage. Some of my colleagues have had the same amount of PTO that they had when they first began thier carrer at Behavioral Innovations. Sadly, you only earn 1 hour per paycheck. Therapsits are doubled and sometimes even tripled with children at once. It's unfortunate that the children are being cheated out with quality therapy sessions all because the company wants to make money. Which honestly does not seem ethical at all. Therpaist are not given extra pay when they are doubled or tripled during therpay sessions. The company has transitioned to using paperless clock in and out system. At first it seemed more effective. However, we were informed that although we have this new our clock out time is edited to the time our last client is gone. Nothing past that. If therpaist need to work on stimuli and projects for thier clients, ithas to be on thier own time. Not the company time. It is pointless to have this new paperless system if our times will continue to be edited on the time we are scheduled, not the time we leave the center. Seems that all corporate cares about about is appearance and money.

Pros

The kids were great to work with.

Cons

Management tried to get me to do unethical things and when I reported it they wrote me up in retaliation. Pay is very low. They do not give raises past a year. This creates high turn over of experienced employees.
